First Hotel in Switzerland: Service robot JEEVES joins the operations team at Radisson Blu Hotel at Zurich Airport

Successful start: JEEVES, Radisson Blu Hotel at Zurich Airport’s new service robot is delighting guests as an extension to the hotel’s operations with contactless deliveries of drinks, snacks, and dining options as burgers, pizza items to guests‘ room door. JEEVES ensures all deliveries and daily tasks are completed in a safe, efficient, and secure manner. With the successful start of operations of its newest smart service robot at Radisson Blu Hotel, Zurich Airport, the Munich technology company Robotise is expanding its service to Switzerland for the first time, meeting the latest demands in hygiene, safety, and efficiency.

To ensure that JEEVES can independently reach all 330 rooms and suites of the Radisson Blu Hotel Zurich Airport, the automated elevator control of the Schindler brand has been upgraded. Thanks to innovative cloud technology, the lifts now communicate directly with the Service Robot for the first time, thus ensuring smooth transport to all floors. “Together with Robotise and Schindler, we see ourselves as innovation drivers, and I am very excited for this joint project,” continues Daniel Twerenbold.

The installation of the JEEVES Service Robot marks the Munich-based technology company’s first international project and paves the way for further expansion abroad.
