Dubai Watch Week’s rich educational programme, which features the Horology Forum, Creative Hub and Masterclasses, and highly anticipated selection of watch brand exhibitors will return in 2021. Leading authorities in horology, the arts, commerce, and entertainment will be participating to share their thoughts on the industry’s most debated topics – from investigating collector credibility to deciphering luxury’s ascension to crypto and how it transcends limits.

The largest and most prominent non-commercial watch event in the Middle East has confirmed the presence of 48 leading watch brands, which is the highest number of participating exhibitors to date. This includes Rolex, Audemars Piguet, TUDOR, Hublot and Chopard, all of whom will have standalone and interactive spaces on site. The world’s leading art business, Christie’s, will also be on-site to allow visitors to experience the excitement of premium auctions.

Make time for yourself at the Dial of Discovery and Time to Capture

To learn more about how we are all connected, the Dial of Discovery will offer visitors a chance to reflect upon themselves and their experience at Dubai Watch Week. Thought-provoking questions from “What describes you best?” to “What are you looking for?” will be printed upon the wall-like structure to encourage moments of meditation amidst the excitement of the event.

Located next to Christie’s event space in the heart of DIFC, the Time to Capture installation which reveals inspirational messages will allow each viewer to capture time on their phones and experience even more moments of mindfulness.

Spend your time wisely to win huge rewards

Each visitor will receive a special booklet including scratch games and instant wins across all of Dubai Watch Week’s activations. Horology explorers can win big by working their way around the event and collecting stamps from five key locations: the Exhibition Hall, the Collector’s Lounge, Christie’s, the Dial of Discovery and Time to Capture.

Skywards — the loyalty programme of Emirates and flydubai — is offering up to 1,000,000 Skywards Miles to those who can collect all five stamps in their Dubai Watch Week booklets, with 125,000 Miles being given out at random each day. Then, on 28 November, one lucky winner will score a grand prize of 500,000 Skywards Miles as well as a limited-edition timepiece from H. Moser & Cie to expand their horizons beyond everyday life as part of the event’s mission to nurture and inspire.

Meet top industry creatives and familiar faces

Visitors will be able to immerse themselves entirely in the culture of art and creativity that Dubai Watch Week represents. Extraordinary British artist, Keira Rathbone, will be bringing iconic sights to life using a manual typewriter in the Exhibition Centre; whilst the Atelier du Bracelet will be taking orders for customised and exclusive watch straps.

As the watch community reunites for a week of both education and entertainment, attendees are also in with the chance to meet familiar faces in the creative industry including renowned musician and innovator, will.i.am. The well-known celebrity guest will be participating on a panel in the Creative Hub to discuss the challenge that lies in focusing on heritage luxury whilst finding synergy in a fast-moving digital world.

Discover taste sensations and brand-new, exclusive menu items

As one of Dubai Watch Week’s F&B partners, much-loved, home-grown burger chain SALT will be launching a limited-edition menu of timeless treats especially for the event.

Other exciting dining concepts to try at Dubai Watch Week include Cipriani as a universally recognised icon of hospitality; Home Bakery, with its undisputed reputation for delicious desserts; and a pop-up from TWST, the innovative local eatery.

Experience the joys of Dubai Watch Week

What’s more, an interactive game booth featuring foosball and air hockey will keep everyone entertained from industry insiders, watch enthusiasts and VIPs to curious residents and the youth.
